 K&C’s services and products fall into the following functional areas of expertise:

• Conduct of vulnerability assessments for a variety of man-made and natural hazards.
• Develop and engineer cost-effective structural and mechanical designs to mitigate them.
• Develop and apply state-of-the-art analysis methodologies and custom or specialized software.
• Perform Research and Development (R&D) to advance knowledge or validate solutions.

The product is a material model and library of parameters for concrete and concrete-like materials. The material model is known as the “K&C Concrete Model” and is designed for use with an explicit dynamic solver like Abaqus/Explicit. The details of the model, and it algorithm, are described in several peer-review technical papers. The model is widely used by Government researchers and design engineers working in the defense and energy sectors.
