The software partnership between Dassault Systèmes and pure-systems has led to a mature and deep integration between CATIA Magic / No Magic (former MagicDraw/Cameo Systems Modeler) and pure::variants that cover structural and parametric variation points in System and Software Architecture models. The integration comes with variant preview capabilities, automated generation of variant specific models via transformation and full support for Teamwork Cloud.

With pure::variants, variant specific CATIA Magic / No Magic models can be generated from generic models based on a feature selection. As the same feature selection can be used to generate variant-specific requirements, test cases, simulation models, code, etc. in other tools, pure::variants ensures a consistent reuse of engineering assets across development phases, asset types and tools. This prevents errors that would otherwise show up during the system integration phase, enables high reuse rates, a reduced time to market for new product variants, a strongly reduced effort of feasibility checks on customer requests and an efficient, centralized maintenance across variants.
