Success with Abaqus and FEACrack:
We presented a paper at the June 2019 NAFEMS World Congress in Quebec City, Canada, where FEACrack with Abaqus was used for the analysis. Our presentation received the “Best Presented Paper” trophy out of the 300 papers presented. The paper is available on our web site. The paper title is: “Ductile Tearing Instability Analysis of Piping Bend with Surface Cracks Using J-R Resistance Curve and 3D Crack Meshes in Elastic-Plastic FEA”.
