SEER by Galorath was initially envisioned by a veteran project engineer and a team of senior scientists and analysts who experienced first-hand the shortcomings of manual estimation processes: Information gaps, inconsistent processes, changing requirements, competing demands, and outside pressure borne of wishful thinking.

Galorath has invested over three decades of research and development helping organizations to better plan and control costs, quality, and risk. Leveraging sophisticated modeling technology and process-applicable knowledge bases, SEER solutions are proven to accurately predict costs more quickly and with much greater fidelity than any traditional estimating methodologies.

The SEER models complement  Dassault  Systèmes’ engineering tools giving engineers, managers, and others visibility to both costs and cost saving alternatives.  This allows cost to be an independent figure of merit for product development, production, manufacturing, operations, and support. Thus the most affordable products are designed and produced, ROI decisions are made on repeatable, reliable costs and risk is quantified. 

The Dassault Systèmes / Galorath partnership has been developed to provide strategic value: Making affordability integral (initially) to the composite product design process.  Rapid cost estimates of composite parts at design time will empower engineers to determine the most efficient way of producing their designs to meet cost, performance, functional and appearance requirements, resulting in the most affordable design possible.
