We are currently hiring for an exciting opportunity as a Working Student (m/f/d) – QA Automation Engineer to join our team.

The SIMULIA System Simulation team is delivering world class applications and technology for technical simulation of multi-body systems. It creates state of the art simulation technology, data handling, automation, 3D graphics and user interfaces, always pushing the limits of what is possible. This is done in a professional software development environment with a team facilitating agile development methodology.

Role Description & Responsibilities

  • You will assist the Development to automate QA related tasks
  • You will provide automated reports of failing automated tests using technologies like Jenkins, Python/Perl, CDash/Cmake, git, gitlab and Atlassians Jira
  • You will improve our testing infrastructure and assist in specifying, developing and maintaining automated GUI tests written in Squish for Qt/Selenium in Python

Qualifications

  • You are currently studying Computer science/Information technology or a related field
  • You have good scripting knowledge in Python
  • You have knowledge of sourcecode versioning with git and working with tools like bitbucket, gitlab or Jira
  • You have basic knowledge of other scripting languages like Perl, JS is a plus
  • Knowing C++, cmake, Jenkins, dockers is preferred
  • You have good German and English language skills
