Solution Consultant – PLM
Role Description & Responsibilities
As a Solution Consultant, you will be leading large and complex technical sales support activities with prospective clients. You will educate clients, identify client pains and opportunities for improvement, define and propose solutions to support data-driven decisions, solve customers’ puzzles using a combination of business analysis and architectures, preparing and delivering solution demonstrations, explaining its value to the business.
- Interpret the customer requirements and demonstrate the product value to define the appropriate methodology documentation.
- Understand the customer’s needs, challenge their process, and document the requirements.
- Discover and analyze customer business problems and architect an aligned solution
- Formulate recommendations and solutions (proposed business processes) with supporting value evidences (KPIs and business case)
- Support presentation of value proposal to Executive / Head of department sponsors
- Responsible for developing Best In Class demos, proof of concepts and solution vision presentation
- Support Request for Information / Request for Proposal processes
- Support Dassault Systèmes’ Business Partners (re-sellers or implementation partners) in their growth and Sales activities
- Able to qualify different stakeholders (identifying their level of interest/decision) and support sales team to explore the correct message and sales strategy
Qualifications

- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of design and/or manufacturing methods and processes.
- 3+ years in presales or post sales solution consultant role within a major software vendor, a solution integrator or an industrial company is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of PLM and/or CAD solutions
- Good capability to manage a customer relationship from technical standpoint on respective domain.
- Ability to lead an engagement team on a dedicated scope.
- Technical knowledge (software integration, database management knowledge, SQL language knowledge, etc.)
- Great communication skills, comfortable in delivering presentations
- Good analytical skills and problem-solving approach
- Passion to learn and discover new domains
- Ability to travel in Latin America
- Change Management Skills
- Strong working proficiency in English (both oral and written)
