Role Description & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a scalable test automation framework that improves the productivity of SOLIDWORKS development and testing teams.
Review and assess the risk of changes throughout the software release lifecycle.
Develop automation frameworks for testing desktop and web-based applications.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, modern software engineering practices, and advancements in AI-assisted software development and test automation.
Identify opportunities to improve engineering efficiency by incorporating AI-powered tools and automation into development and testing workflows while ensuring reliability, security, and maintainability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with 0 -2 years of relevant experience.
Strong programming skills in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
Experience with test automation using industry-standard frameworks such as NUnit or xUnit.
Experience testing Microsoft Windows applications.
Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Add on - Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) and an understanding of how to use them effectively for software development, debugging, code review, documentation, and test automation.
Add-on - Basic understanding of modern AI concepts, including Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI-assisted software engineering workflows, is desirable.
Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS API is desirable.
Strong software design skills and sound engineering principles.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
