Role Description & Responsibilities:
- Application Deployment & Lifecycle: Managing application installations, configuration, and upgrades DevOps way mainly on Windows OS
- Automation & Scripting: Automate and standardize configurations across environments
- Pipeline Integration: Use Git and Automation Ops Pipelines to automate the deployment of automations from development to production.
- Version Control: Integrate with external source control systems to manage automation code.
- Disaster Recovery & Backup: Ensuring application data integrity and implementing backup strategies for Windows systems
- Ensuring Compliance and patching vulnerabilities
- L3 Support for all end users
- DR for applications
- Monitoring using grafana and prometheus
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience managing application infrastructure using DevOps tools and practices
- Hands on experience of Windows Servers, Netapps, Backup Restore procedures. Should have good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on Windows and possibly also on Linux systems.
- Quick understanding of the IT infrastructure, various process & policies and tools and getting aligned.
- Cloud Experience would be an added advantage
- Ability to write documentation in a clear and concise way.
- Good Team Player and willing to work in a team
- Excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills is mandatory
