V6 Analysis solutions enable designers and engineering specialists to perform rapid virtual tests to evaluate realistic product performance. The SIMULIA solution leverages the V6 platform which enables real-time, online access to simulation models and results. The V6 platform also enables expert analysts to capture and deploy approved simulation methods which enable more parts and assemblies to be analyzed with greater confidence. By accessing simulation models from a single V6 PLM platform, design and engineering teams are able to quickly access the current simulation models in relation to the master design model, share simulation results, and collaborate on making critical performance-based decisions to drive innovation and bottom line results.

SIMULIA V6 provides powerful tools that enable designers and engineering analysts to perform fast, accurate performance studies on parts, subsystems, and systems designed with CATIA.

The Surface FE Modeling solution provides a meshing capability for surface parts and wireframe geometries. The solution, based on a powerful topological engine, supports creating finite element models with assembly joints and other fasteners including spot and seam welds. It also provides tools to analyze mesh quality according to pre-defined and customizable criteria. 

The Advanced FE Modeling solution enables automatic and associative meshing, as well as manual mesh creation on surfaces and complex solid parts. High quality meshing is enabled due to unique topology simplification and access to advanced mesh parameters. 

The Structural Analysis solution enables linear stress and modal analysis on part and hybrid assemblies, as well as powerful stress and vibration analysis on complex assemblies, including surfaces, solids, and wireframe geometries.

The Advanced Structural Analysis solution enables advanced stress, modal and dynamic analysis on any type of part or hybrid assembly. Capabilities include the full post-processing analysis on composites parts with embedded failure criteria specification to the creation and simultaneous solving of multiple analysis cases for static, frequency, and buckling analysis, as well as advanced bearing.
