Role Description & Responsibilities:

Application Deployment & Lifecycle: Managing application installations, configuration, and upgrades DevOps way mainly on Windows OS
Automation & Scripting: Automate and standardize configurations across environments
Pipeline Integration: Use Git and Automation Ops Pipelines to automate the deployment of automations from development to production.
Version Control: Integrate with external source control systems to manage automation code.
Disaster Recovery & Backup: Ensuring application data integrity and implementing backup strategies for Windows systems
Ensuring Compliance and patching vulnerabilities
L3 Support for all end users
DR for applications
Monitoring using grafana and prometheus

Qualifications:

4-5 years of experience managing application infrastructure using DevOps tools and practices
Hands on experience of Windows Servers, Netapps, Backup Restore procedures. Should have good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on Windows and possibly also on Linux systems.
Quick understanding of the IT infrastructure, various process & policies and tools and getting aligned.
Cloud Experience would be an added advantage
Ability to write documentation in a clear and concise way.
Good Team Player and willing to work in a team
Excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills is mandatory
