The Medical Device Marketing Manager is responsible for creating, executing and measuring demand generation programs that drive sales of our Med Dev offerings into the EMEA Life Sciences industry encompassing both sponsors and CRO’s. These offerings cover the research, manufacturing and quality space. The role works closely with both internal marketing groups and the Sales organization. Interfacing with product experts around our solutions, the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing demand generation programs to support sales, by building pipeline for the Medical Device Solution Sales Specialists and Business Development teams. A tenacious ‘can do’ approach, the ability to innovate, and a willingness to be “hands-on” to accomplish the work is needed.
Understand the buying cycle, audience, personas, their needs and challenges
Establish relationships with Med Dev focused Solution Sales Specialists and other key stakeholders to jointly develop the strategic marketing plan to support sales and create pipeline
Identify the most effective value prop, marketing messages, materials, channels, and calls to action for target personas within Life Science accounts
Develop marketing playbooks including outbound prospecting, email/nurture, digital/social activities, webinars, and events with the goal of building pipeline and accelerating sales
Operate as a hands-on ‘subject matter expert’ (SME) & contributor with a focus on content repackaging, copywriting and editing
Utilize demand generation metrics to ensure marketing programs deliver business impact as measured by new pipeline, bookings, contact database growth, and engagement
Identify trends and insights, and optimize tactics and spend based on the insights- brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
Ensure that Med Dev solutions are properly integrated within demand programs for related products
Serve as the demand marketing SME point-of-contact on cross-functional R&D marketing efforts
Up to 20% travel; mostly EMEA regional-based
Proactive self-starter, demonstrating initiative and critical thinking; proven ability to think strategically, with exceptional attention to detail in execution
Knowledge and experience in building and executing marketing plans and programs utilizing email and other outbound tactics, webinars, digital/inbound marketing, social media and face-to-face events
Ability to devise new and innovative communication methods and assets to articulate Dassault Systemes Life Science messages and value propositions
Analytical and uses data insights to optimize marketing programs
Ability to be innovative with program creation and problem resolution
Knowledge and understanding of marketing tools, processes, and execution of workflows in order to define, track, and report KPIs for demand generation activities
Experience interfacing with all levels in a Sales organization including account executives, technical consultants, solution sales specialists, and sales leadership
Excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills to bring together stakeholders from disparate functional groups to enable program creation, support, and execution
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously
Understanding of working within a matrix environment
Your Education & Experience:
Medical Device/Life Sciences experience is highly desirable
Related work experience with a degree or equivalent experience
Requires experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, or marketing program role supporting a direct sales force in the enterprise software industry; or equivalent years of experience
Experience using Enterprise B2B software demand generation strategies and tactics (sfdc/Eloqua/Outreach)
