Description
We are sending you this technical note to inform you of the release of a hotfix to address the following issues:
Defect Number | Description |
NBK-25040 | Very slow performance viewing the History of an Experiment after upgrade to 6.9 SP5 |
NBK-25214 | Viewing the history of an experiment takes an extra minute to load once every 10 minutes due to timeout of server-side cache. |
This hotfix addresses a performance problem when accessing the History screen in the presence of large numbers of history records. In this hotfix, the server-side process that reads audit history records has been optimized. This hotfix is currently available on the Download Center for all Biovia ELN Customers.
This hotfix also includes fixes for the following two issues which were previously released in 6.9 SP5 HF1:
Defect Number | Description |
NBK-24785 | Cloning experiments created prior to 6.9.x using the old-style clone dialog causes files in file sections to upload to the new file service, even if the user selects the exclude data option for those sections. If there are large files in the experiment this can take up to several minutes. |
NBK-24775 | Opening an experiment read-only causes files in the file section to upload into the file service. The user is blocked from opening the experiment until this upload completes. |
