T77-2015: Correction to instructions for upgrading from BIOVIA Insight 2.5 to 2.6
The upgrade section in Chapter 3 in the Biovia Insight installation guide states the following information which is not correct when upgrading from Insight 2.5:
IMPORTANT! After you have installed Pipeline Pilot with Insight 2.6 users will not be able to access the web client until the Installer Wizard has been run.
Resolution:
1. When upgrading from Insight 2.5 to to Insight 2.6, you should not run the Insight Installer Wizard, because there is no database upgrade when upgrading from 2.5 to 2.6.
2. You still need to run the scitegicsetup.exe on the Pipeline Pilot Foundation server to update the Insight packages for 2.6.
3. If you are upgrading from earlier versions of Insight, then you will still need to run the Insight Installer Wizard to upgrade Insight.
