T73-2016: BIOVIA (Chemical/Biological) Registration - Editing non-identifying attribute via RESTful API breaks lot to concept association

Updating a non-identifying attribute on a lot using the RESTful API (not the web based UI) has been found to break the link between the lot being updated and the concept it belongs to. This process removes the CorporateID from the lot and subsequently blocks further modification of that lot via both the web-UI or the RESTful API.

Resolution:

Users are currently advised not to use the RESTful API to update non-identifying attribute data on a lot until a suitable resolution has been implemented.
