T57-2016 Release Notification of Pipeline Pilot 2017 HF1

When using Pipeline Pilot 2017 and BIOVIA Foundation 2017 in a load balanced configuration, security information (users/groups) in load-balanced Pipeline Pilot servers can become out of sync, resulting in security not being applied consistently across the load-balanced servers.
Resolution:
This issue was reported as defect number SEC-3738 and has been fixed in Pipeline Pilot 2017 HF1.  

This Technical Note and Hotfix only applies to load-balanced Pipeline Pilot 2017 servers that are connected to Foundation Hub.

Pipeline Pilot 2017 HF1 is an update installer for Pipeline Pilot server and must be installed as a collection update on an existing Pipeline Pilot 2017 installation.  

NOTES: 

• Pipeline Pilot 2017 HF1 applies to load-balanced Pipeline Pilot 2017 servers that are connected to Foundation Hub.
• Pipeline Pilot 2017 HF1 is available only on the Microsoft Windows operating system.
• Pipeline Pilot 2017 HF1 is an update release that is applied to an existing, load-balanced, Pipeline Pilot 2017 deployment.
• This hotfix must be applied to all load-balanced Pipeline Pilot nodes to be effective.
