Description

We are providing this Technical Note to inform you about the release of BIOVIA Foundation 2021 Hot Fix 3, which includes the following:

Enhancements

¡ The Create Sample, Edit Sample, and Collect Sample windows now support selecting a CISPro container as the sample source.

¡ The Capture Hub Materials card and the Task Planner Materials tab now support CISPro Proposed Lot and Proposed Container nodes (pending inventory).

¡ Child Activities now support 'Reopen for Edit' and manual setting of the activity version number.

¡ Collaborative Space settings now include an option to control the "Use Latest Activity" setting in tasks should be selected by default.

Fixed Defects

DAT-21021 – When tasks with the use latest flag are used with child activities created before 2021 HF1, the task is created from the parent activity instead of the child activity. This issue has been fixed and now the newest version of the child activity is used to create the task.

DAT-21066 – A missing Java library prevented barcode labels from printing. The library has been added and barcode labels can now be printed.

SEC-7113 – Removed a limitation that caused upgrades to fail when the system contained material names longer than 100 characters.

SEC-7097 – Corrected a problem that prevented the Run button on the equipment page from returning test data when the instrument is configured to use the ScienceCloud integration gateway.
