T40-2016: Additional Steps for Completing a New Installation of BIOVIA Request 2017 and 2017 R2 (Revised January 2017)

Vocabularies are managed in Foundation/Hub in 2017 and 2017 R2 release of BIOVIA Workbook. The required vocabularies, Activities, Priority and Status for BIOVIA Request are not included in Foundation/Hub.

This results in error due to missing objects when you import StandardRMPsd.voexp and StandardRMTemplates.voexp into Workbook during a new install of BIOVIA Request.

All operating systems supported for use with BIOVIA Request 2017 and 2017 R2

Resolution:
Create the required vocabularies manually in Foundation/Hub and synchronize them to Vault before importing StandardRMPsd.voexp in BIOVIA Workbook.

In order to successfully complete a new installation of BIOVIA Request 2017 and 2017 R2, apply the steps provided below.

https://Fullly qualified domain name of the Hub server:port/foundation/hub

Click on Admin and Settings link and click on Vocabularies under Resources.
Click on Add Vocabulary and enter the Vocabulary name, Description and Category.
Click on Add under Entries to add Vocabulary Entries.
Add a Name and a Description for each Vocabulary entry and click OK.

Add the following Vocabularies with corresponding Vocabulary entries using Workbook as Category

Login to Workbook client and import StandardRMPsd.voexp as described in the ‘Importing VOEXP files’ section of the request_install.pdf.
Then import the StandardRMTemplates.voexp into a folder where the templates are stored.
