T37-2017 Notification of Support for BIOVIA LIMS v4.2

BIOVIA is providing customers with notification that LIMS v4.2 and all of its subsequent service packs/hotfixes will be entering into legacy support as of December 2017 and will be unsupported as of December 2018.

Resolution:
BIOVIA Support will continue to handle support cases, assist in answering questions, and finding solutions to problems with BIOVIA LIMS v4.2 and all of its subsequent service releases/hotfixes in accordance with our support policies through December 2018.

Legacy support is defined below:
•   Responses to questions, including troubleshooting, providing workarounds and assistance with migration.
•   Previously released fixes, patches and special releases will be available as needed.
•   FAQs and Technical Notes accessible via the BIOVIA Support Website.
•   BIOVIA will not consider new fixes, patches and special releases during this phase.

Within this time BIOVIA asks that you take the necessary steps to upgrade to a newer version of LIMS.
