Description

The Pipeline Pilot Chemistry SDK provides functionality to custom applications that was previously available only from protocols. Python APIs were recently added to those previously available for .NET and Java.

Starting with the 2021 release, the Pipeline Pilot Chemistry SDK is not included in the install media for Pipeline Pilot Server.

· In previous releases, Chemistry Collection customers could get the SDK by installing Pipeline Pilot Server and navigating to the apps/scitegic/chemistrysdk folder of the server install directory. As an alternative, a separate archive with the Chemistry SDK was available on the download center.

· Starting with the 2021 release, customers who specifically license the Chemistry SDK can access it by downloading the separate archive from the “BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot & Chemistry SDK” section of the download center at https://software.3ds.com. A license containing the trigram “ICD” is needed to unpack the archive.

Resolution

Customers affected by the change can continue to use the Chemistry SDK provided with versions 2020 and earlier of Pipeline Pilot. Alternately, a license for the Chemistry SDK can be purchased.
