T18-2016: Release notification of Experiment Knowledge Base 2016 HF1

We are sending you this Technical Note to inform you of the upcoming release of a hotfix to address the following issues:
Defect Number | Description |
EKB-8771 | Previously, the "Open EKB Connection" component would fail in the Favorites Descriptors protocol if the EKB Server did not have an older ODBC driver installed. Installing the old ODBC driver is no longer necessary. |
EKB-8868 | Previously, the "Open EKB Connection" component would fail in basket protocols if the EKB Server did not have an older ODBC driver installed. Installing the old ODBC driver is no longer necessary. |
EKB-8723 | Previously, the "Open EKB Connection" component would fail in all protocols that used it if the EKB Server did not have an older ODBC driver installed. Installing the old ODBC driver is no longer necessary. |
Resolution:
A hotfix to address the above issues will be released in February 2016.
