T16-2017: BIOVIA LES GUID Test for acrobat.tlb failed in the System Verification Tool

LES

During the installation of the LES the verification tool verifies that all files are properly registered. The tool requires that the GUID in the registry matches with what is in the verification file. On some systems a failure was caused by the fact that the GUID for acrobat.tlb in the registry (78165D71-DF28-11d3-9A89-005004A56D53) did not match cases with what was in the verification file (78165D71-DF28-11D3-9A89-005004A56D53).

Acrobat.tlb is a common file that is used by many programs. In some cases a file that is used by other programs can be registered before installation of LES. The LES installation program will not attempt to re-register a common program if already exists. If the cases in the registration do not match the verification file, the verification will fail.

The failure can be noted as an expected and acceptable failure.
