Background

At this time we have had reported problems with the Search and Browse feature. This has been displayed after the upgrade of the following applications; BIOVIA Chemical Registration 2021, BIOVIA Biological Registration 2021, CISPro Material Search and Browse 2021, BIOVIA Insight 2021, or BIOVIA Insight for Excel 2021. Non-administrative users cannot access data sources in Insight or Search and Browse from ChemReg, BioReg, or CISPro MSB.

We actively investigating the root cause of this problem. Note upgrade of BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot 2021 by itself doesn’t display this problem. This issue does not affect 2020 or earlier versions.

Solution

This issue is logged as defect PPC-9898.

It is suggested customers not upgrade these applications prior to contacting BIOVIA Customer Support.
