T06-2018:Excel/Word 2016 is not detected by Notebook Plugin on Macs

For Mac users only:
Microsoft Excel/Word 2016 are no longer recognised by the BIOVIA Notebook Plugin/Desktop Connector when applying the latest Office 2016 update, i.e. version 16.9.0 released on January 18, 2018. Although it is possible to insert a new Excel worksheet, all features to upload, create or drag and drop are disabled (greyed out).

BIOVIA recommend avoiding upgrading to Microsoft Office 16.9.0 for Mac.

This issue may affect all versions of BIOVIA Notebook Plugin/Desktop Connector.
