DELMIAWorks Release Change Coming January 2022
Upcoming release related changes, such as 16/16.2 Releases end of Full Support, MyIQMS/FTP migration, and Refresh scheduling change.
16.0 and 16.2 Releases- End of Full Support
- As of January 7, 2022, the 16.0 and 16.2 Releases end Full Support.
- For further information regarding the definition of Full Support or other Support Lifecycles, please visit the https://media.3ds.com/support/3ds/support/policies-offers/lifecycle-policy/ and access the Support Lifecycle Policy on the right. Login is required to access.
- Limited Known Issues packages will be available after October in preparation for the end of Full Support. Only critical or high impact issues will be considered for release.
MyIQMS and FTP Deprecation for 2020+ Releases
- Starting January 2022 all releases, starting with 2020 and newer, will no longer be available to download via the MyIQMS or FTP sites. All downloads must be done through the Download Platform accessed at https://software.3ds.com/.
- Legacy Releases will still be accessible through MyIQMS and FTP for the time being.
- Known Issues will not be regularly maintained on MyIQMS for 2020+. Users may use the Knowledge Base and filter by bug Reports for issues relevant to their release.
- Postings will not be removed or deleted, however, new postings will not be added to MyIQMS and instead will have a Bug Report created.
- New documentation called Release Notes are also available for download from the https://www.3ds.com/ website, accessed under Support > Documentation > Specific Product Documentation.
- The Release Notes are Excel documents with a list of fixed issues for a specific Refresh.
Refresh Release Schedules Starting January 2022
- Starting January 2022, every release will be migrating to a 2-month refresh release cadence for the first and second year of support, and 3-month refresh release cadence for the third year of support.
