Chrome's Cookies Policy Updates (“SameSite attributes”): 3DEXPERIENCE licensed program & Online Services impacts

Starting February 17,2020, Google will start rolling-out (on Chrome 80 & higher stable releases) change in the way Chrome handles and interprets cookies (specifically 3^rd Party Cookies).

We wanted to share with you information about the impacts of this change for 3DEXPERIENCE (on-premises / on-the-cloud) customers/users using Google Chrome as their browser.

3DEXPERIENCE Online Services (on-the-cloud): Dassault Systèmes checked the compliancy online services with the new Chrome policies.

3DEXPERIENCE Licensed Program (on-premises): Customers following Dassault Systèmes best practice for on premises installations should not experience any operational issues with this new policy. This is because all of your 3DEXPERIENCE platform services are found within your single domain. HOWEVER,
- customers using external third-party products, such as cloud-based performance-monitoring tools, may experience issues. We encourage these customers to contact those vendors for updates, configuration changes, or patches.
- Customers, where 3DEXPERIENCE Platform servers are deployed on hosts with names from different domains, are asked to test with Chrome 80
