This release of BIOVIA Notebook 2026 SP1 includes the following Enhancements

| CELN-13794 | The web client can now trigger start-up of Desktop Connector when it is not running. The Windows Desktop Connector can be configured to not start during Windows login. |

| CELN-15128 | Template categories containing Asian characters are now supported also when database is SQL Server. |
| CELN-15131 | API endpoint v1/users/\{id} and other API endpoints taking a user identifier as a URL parameter now have a new optional parameter userIdentifierType. It applies only to the userid path parameter, not when the user ID is supplied via the onbehalfofuser parameter. See also api/v1/help. |
| CELN-14144 | Changing background color of text in the body text section now works consistently. |
| CELN-15020 | Searching in the related experiments drop-down list, All tab, is now working correctly. |
| CELN-15024 | ElnDirectorySyncService now handles exceptions while loading groups and users from Foundation Hub correctly, so that incomplete data from Hub is never synced to Notebook. |
| CELN-15027 | Pasting from Word into an Excel workbook opened from Notebook and then closing Excel no longer causes Word to crash. |
| CELN-15043 | Double-byte alphanumeric characters in file content uploaded to Notebook is now correctly extracted to the full-text search index. |
| CELN-15057 | The email reminder categories in settings are now correctly reflected in the reminder emails generated. |
| CELN-15090 | Importing experiments containing a Task Planner section now works correctly. |
| CELN-15103 | User/Experiment audit trail is now recorded correctly also when SQL Server database is used. This fixes a regression in 2026; earlier releases are not impacted. |
| CELN-15110 | Performance of the Notebook SQL Server Database when loading experiment audit trail has been improved. |
| CELN-15159 | The Last Edited date displayed in the experiment info page now reflects any change to the experiment, not only changes of section content. |
| CELN-15231 | Sharing of Data Archive packages using projects now works correctly also when the package owner is no longer an active user. |
| CELN-14884 | A defect where certain experiments with Asian characters in section titles would not be saved correctly using Save as Word has been corrected. |
| CELN-14982 | Experiment title including the ampersand character and Asian language characters is now correctly shown in the Lab Notebook Record header of the submitted PDF. |
| CELN-15001 | The email reminder categories in settings are now correctly reflected in the reminder emails generated. |
| CELN-15133 | The All Projects library listing now correctly excludes experiments with errata level "Invalid" from the experiment counts. |
| CELN-15147 | Upgrading the Data Archive Oracle database from versions prior to 2025 now works correctly. The previous error ORA-00904: invalid identifier is resolved. |
| CELN-15257 | Filtering the Public Templates library list by author is now working correctly. |
