Description
In BIOVIA Foundation Hub 2026 HF1, audit history can fail for some older Task records in both the UI and REST API.
When the issue occurs, the /foundation/hub/api/v1/tasks/$history request returns HTTP 500, and the Hub log may report an ObjectNotFoundException for a VocabularyEntry that is still present in the system.
Affected data: Older Tasks that retain values in the obsolete PARENT_TASK_ID and/or PARENT_TASK_RELATIONSHIP_ID fields. The affected relationship may reference the Review, Retest, or Split vocabulary entries.
Cause: A migration issue caused incorrect revision numbers in some vocabulary history records. When Hub loads an older version of an affected Task, it cannot resolve the related vocabulary entry, and the Task audit history fails to display.
Resolution
The affected vocabulary revision data must be corrected so Hub can properly load Task audit history.
The corrective fix is targeted for BIOVIA Foundation Hub 2026 HF8 IDR1. The issue is also fixed in R2027x_MAJOR.
If the corrective fix is not yet available and immediate remediation is required, contact BIOVIA Support. An approved database correction procedure may be provided as a permanent workaround.
