This document describes the concepts for creating an interface using VIC, including:
• A detailed description of the software components.
• A step by step description of an interface implementation, with emphasis on the logical sequence of operation.
Using the software features is described in the online help available from each of the programs mentioned.
This document is intended for the people using VIC in order to design and/or maintain an interface between two software systems – typically, between and ERP and DELMIA Ortems applications. These people need to have the necessary read / write to all relevant programs, files and databases.
