Installation of CATIA V5 and CAA API
The purpose of this document is to provide basic guidelines for install CATIA V5 and CAA APIs. It also provides information on how to run and debug a CAA sample use case.
The document covers prerequisites and detailed steps for installing CATIA V5 and CAA API (GA/SP/HF), license configuration, code compilation, execution and debugging. Although this document is based on the V5-6R2025 level, you can follow equivalent steps for other releases.
Prerequisites and recommendations: The end user should be familiar with C++ and Visual Studio.
