Dassault Systèmes’ commitment to corporate responsibility is expressed in the Principles of Corporate Responsibility, Code of Business Conduct, and Environmental Statement
The purpose of the Sustainable Charter with Suppliers is to clarify the mutual commitments and Dassault Systèmes' expectations from its Suppliers (current or future) with regard to Corporate Social Responsibility, which entail a commitment to higher standards than required by applicable laws or regulations.
Dassault Systèmes seeks to operate in an ecosystem and working environment that shares common set of values. To this end, Dassault Systèmes expects its Suppliers to adhere to its Sustainable Charter with Suppliers
Science-based targets provide a clearly defined pathway for companies to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, helping prevent the worst impacts of climate change and future-proof business growth. Dassault Systèmes wants to collaborate more deeply with its Suppliers on climate action and commits that 52% of its Suppliers by emissions covering purchased goods and services and capital goods will have science-based targets by 2025. In that context, Dassault Systèmes is asking its Suppliers to join Science-based Targets initiative and to commit to maintain or obtain "Target Set" SBTi certification.
Leverage our 3DS SBTi webinars, in video or slides, to better understand why it is important to tackle climate change and how to join SBTI.
SBTi commitment is now a major criterion for Dassault Systèmes in the selection of its Suppliers. Companies already engaged or ready to join SBTi will be favored. SBTi is mandatory for our significant Suppliers.
Leverage SBTi website with Resources and FAQs; Free e-learning course made by the UN Global Compact Academy will guide Suppliers in the process of setting a science-based target.
Dassault Systèmes Procurement is willing to collaborate with diverse Suppliers by being proactive in its Sourcing activities and generate values. In France, Dassault Systèmes Procurement is developing partnerships with "Entreprises protégées et adaptées" companies providing employment for the disabled, social rehabilitation reintegration through employment (ESAT, EA, etc.)
Dassault Systèmes signed on 19th December 2014 a Supplier relationship charter ("Charte des Relations Fournisseur Responsables") with the French Ministry of Finance. It has renewed its responsible purchasing commitment by signing at the end of 2021 the new version of « Sustainable Procurement and Supplier Relations Charter »
Dassault Systèmes has also implemented, for Suppliers located in EMEAR, a mediation process and has appointed its Group Ethics & Compliance Officer as Mediator. Roles and mission of Mediator are as follows:
The purpose of the mediation process is not only to have Dassault Systèmes and a Supplier try to solve the conflict, but also try to keep a long-lasting relationship between the parties. Dassault Systèmes Mediator can be reached at 3DS.Supplier-Mediator@3ds.com
