Strategic Client Executive Aerospace & Defense (m/f/d)
We are looking for a results-oriented and relationship-focused Strategic Client Executive Aerospace and Defense (m/f/d) with a focus on dedicated accounts to start at the earliest possible date: [More about the industry: https://www.3ds.com/de/industries/aerospace-defense].
The role can be performed in a hybrid setting from one of our 3DS locations, such as in Munich, Stuttgart, Berlin, Darmstadt, Karlsruhe, Hamburg, Cologne, or Düsseldorf. Willingness to travel to our customers in the D-A-CH region is essential.
Role Description & Responsibilities
- Strategic management of dedicated customers with responsibility for revenue and growth targets
- Development and implementation of a customised account strategy in close collaboration with internal specialists
- Establishment and maintenance of sustainable business relationships at decision-maker and C-level
- Positioning of our consulting approach "Value Engagement" with a focus on added value for the customer
- Identification of business opportunities and implementation of customer-specific sales initiatives; coordination and management of internal resources as well as external partners for the successful execution of the customer strategy
- Responsibility for pipeline and forecast management for the managed accounts.
Qualifications
- Completed studies in engineering, manufacturing or business administration or equivalent qualifications
- Proven direct sales experience for the DACH and Poland regions, managing sales processes and developing long-term strategic customer relationships, frequently engaging at C level
- Proven experience of direct value selling to (and awareness of decision making processes within) the Aerospace and Defense, Public Sector or High Tech industries is essential
- Direct experience of selling complex software solutions, or ERP is preferred - ideally in complex sales structures or major client projects
- Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to develop long-term customer partnerships; outstanding communication skills at all management levels; fluent in German and English, French is an advantage
- Direct experiences of identifying business potential and implementing strategic initiatives to increase revenue, delivering quota expectations and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and external partners
