As a Services Software Consultant, you will work with customers in the Life Sciences and Materials Sciences industries to implement BIOVIA laboratory informatics solutions and support their digital transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver cloud-ready, compliant, and innovative solutions that improve R&D and laboratory operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement and configure BIOVIA software solutions for customer projects.
  • Gather customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Work with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and technical teams to deliver successful implementations.
  • Support system integration, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure solutions meet regulatory and data integrity requirements (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
  • Provide technical consulting, troubleshooting, and user guidance throughout project delivery.
  • Participate in customer workshops and travel to customer sites as required (up to 50%).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with Laboratory Informatics solutions (ELN, LIMS, LES, SDMS) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of laboratory workflows, R&D, QA/QC, or manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with .NET, SQL, REST APIs, and scripting (Python preferred).
  • Familiarity with Cloud/SaaS technologies is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing skills.
  • Good written and spoken English.
