SOLIDWORKS Startup Ecosystem Intern (F/M)

SOLIDWORKS for Startups program is focused on providing free access to SOLIDWORKS for early to mid-stage hardware startups. The team is geographically dispersed and handles global footprint of startups. Key component of the program is our partnership with leading accelerators and incubators around the world. 

Your role:

• Main Responsibilities:

  Back Office – Research & Strategic Analysis

  1. Market Research – with special focus on Africa & Middle East:
     • Update and refresh a previous market study conducted in these regions.
     • Identify what competitors are doing to attract startups (e.g., programs, events, partnerships).
     • Map key innovation actors: incubators, tech hubs, technical universities, etc.
     • Create Market Entry Strategies for Africa & Middle East.
  2. Customer Feedback & Satisfaction Analysis:
     • Reach out to selected startup customers to collect feedback on how the platform has impacted their business.
     • Analyze and synthesize the results (benefits, usage, support, pain points).
     • Create a satisfaction report and suggest potential improvements or follow-up actions.

  Front Office – Operational Follow-up & Partner Relations

  • Be in copy of emails sent to PSMs to track communication and responses.
  • Maintain a follow-up Excel tracker to monitor unanswered startup emails and develop a regular cadence of weekly reminders.
  • Provide a weekly update/report on follow-up progress and outcomes.
