SIMULIA Multibody/Motion Engineer

Join our growing team of engineers in Milan, bridging customer needs with innovative simulation solutions. You’ll face technical challenges, manage projects, and engage directly with clients—using market leading simulation tools in a dynamic, international environment.
Role & Responsibilities
You will work on any initiatives related to Multi-Body Dynamics using Simpack and 3DEXPERIENCE, eventually in connection with other simulation disciplines and optimization, and covering the complete process from model build-up, over simulation execution and results analysis to reports presentation. The main but not exclusive focus will be on the Transportation & Mobility sector: Automotive Suspension analysis and Vehicle Dynamics (incl. handling, ride, drivability, comfort, durability, advanced elasto-kinematic analysis etc.).
Your creativity and critical sense will be required to propose simulation solutions to engineering challenges, and you will use your skills and critical sense to:
- Collaborate with sales mgmt. in the scouting and technical qualification of new business development leads
- Effectively articulate to prospects the value of SIMULIA solutions
- Assess "as-is" business drivers & technical pains and translate them into a "to-be" solution
- Translate customer needs into tailored simulation value, demonstrated through demos or proofs of concept
- Contribute to our customers’ technical evolution by implementing more efficient simulation processes and by validating innovative methods on real customer cases
- Deliver services to make customers experience directly the impact of our solutions, and propose creative solutions to product engineering challenges
Qualifications
- MSc/PhD in Mechanical, Automotive, Computational Engineering or related field
- Solid knowledge of mechanics fundamentals and experience with numerical methods and simulation techniques for multibody and multi-physics
- Applied knowledge of industrial Multibody simulation software such as Simpack
- Industry-level knowledge of the Automotive processes related to the development of suspension and chassis for Vehicle Dynamics, Tire modelling, as well as application of simulation models to Real-Time applications (driving simulators, MIL, SIL, HIL) is a plus
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis tools like Abaqus, and of CAD software like Catia & Solidworks is a plus
- Industry experience in Automotive or other manufacturing industries, or in consulting for relevant engineering applications, is a plus
- Ability to develop strong customer trust through technical & interpersonal skills excellence
- Very responsive, proactive and problem-solving attitude, with an analytical and critical mindset
- Determination to work within a collaborative international pre-sales consulting team
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation with a high level of interest and passion to learn
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in English (B2+) and Italian is necessary; Russian language would be a plus
- Willingness to travel (ca. 25%)

Pour ce poste, nous proposons une rémunération initiale annuelle brute comprise entre 43000€ et 47000€ déterminée en fonction de critères objectifs tels que l’expérience et les compétences requises ainsi que le périmètre du poste. Cette fourchette inclut le salaire de base (fixe) et, le cas échéant, un élément de rémunération variable (bonus cible), conformément à notre engagement en faveur de pratiques de rémunération claires et transparentes.
