Operations Research Scientist – DELMIA Quintiq

Role Description and Responsibilities
You will be contributing to the delivery of optimization within the DELMIA Quintiq software framework. DELMIA Quintiq is an Application Suite that is used to solve some of the most complex planning puzzles by supply chain planners, C-level executives, field workers and sales staff. In the Services department, we deliver the customization of the software for a variety of planning puzzles in a wide range of industries. In this role, your main responsibility will be to support our customers to reap the most benefit from the solution platform by designing, implementing, analyzing, and maintaining optimization solutions.
- Design, implement, test, and debug our optimizers and spar with other Operations Research Scientists about algorithms and solutions
- Work together with our Industry Process Consultants in designing and planning solutions that incorporate optimization
- Conduct experimental analysis to understand the different algorithms used to solve puzzles in various real-life industries
- Find and suggest improvements to the optimization implementation process
Qualifications
- Degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Econometrics, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or similar
- Relevant background in optimization techniques in Operations Research and/or Artificial Intelligence (linear programming, genetic algorithms, heuristic search techniques, constraint programming, etc.)
- Communicative, enthusiastic, energetic, proactive and flexible personality and you can get work done
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
