BIOVIA is looking for CloudOps engineer to expand current cloud operation team in Bangalore. Responsibilities include design and maintenance of various system that form ISO certified applications. In this position, you will work as a member of CloudOps team to architect new solution built from ground up and maintain them.

Responsibilities:

As the first line of defense, this position monitors systems and validate alerts using our array of monitoring tools.
Following ISO policies to keep the system running within ISO scope.
Perform first-tier troubleshooting using tools and utilities to resolve system/network performance and related system/network issues.
Build new system and solution in AWS to meet business needs.
Proactively work to refine documentation of systems/network, troubleshooting guides, policies, and procedures.
Ensure quick and effective response to an outage per policies.
Work with the remote team to ensure maximum uptime of the system.
Work hours: 8 hours rotating shifts. Shifts are mandatory, no exceptions.
Will need to carry a pager as backup on-call.

5+ experience years as a devops or cloudops supporting 24x7 mission critical applications.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Must have good understanding of AWS services and components like EC2, EBS, VPC, WAF, ALB, Lambda, S3, IAM, etc
Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with various monitoring tools such as Prometheus, CloudWatch Agent, etc.
Must have scripting experience with tools like Ansible, shell script, powershell, Python, Teraform
Mush have working experience with windows and linux instances.
Experience working in a regulated or ISO certified environment is a plus.
AWS certification and ISMS experience is a plus.
Proven ability to work independently.
Ability to work non-standard business hours.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Burp test, Pen Testing or Oracle DBA Experience is a Plus.
