Closing the gaps in Composites Simulation (Europe)

On September 14, 2017 2:00 (GMT0)

14:00 - 15:00 BST
15:00 - 16:00 CEST

The composites landscape is continuously evolving at an impressive rate, with materials, physical structures and manufacturing techniques under constant development. Attend the eSeminar to learn how simulation adapts to meet these increased demands.

  • Simulate composite design and manufacturing process: Accurate simulation of composites requires detailed consideration of the manufacturing procedures used. Learn to simulate components as well as the manufacturing processes.
  • Multi-scale modelling: We will provide details on how to simulate composites across the full range of scales and how to bridge the gaps between these length scales
  • Fracture and failure: Predicting how and when composite components fail will be described using our range of damage and failure techniques
