Bertrand Sicot brings nearly 20 years of sales operations leadership in both domestic and international engineering businesses to Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks. As CEO, Bertrand steers the company toward continued market leadership and profitability, ensuring that the organization delivers software that helps customers around the world create products better, faster, and more cost effectively. He most recently served as executive vice president of sales, responsible for directing the global growth strategies for DS SolidWorks by ensuring that the regional sales, education sales, and reseller development teams have the resources they need.
Bertrand started his career at DS SolidWorks in 1997 as the regional sales manager for Western Europe and Scandinavia. Since joining DS SolidWorks as Europe’s “second employee,” Bertrand has consistently improved worldwide distribution, performance, revenue, profit, and global market share. This success earned him promotions with increasing responsibility and global scope, including country manager for Western Europe in 1999, and vice president, North American sales in 2004. Bertrand began his career at IBM France, and was a branch sales manager for Computervision France before joining SolidWorks. Bertrand holds an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers.
