CHINA Interpreter

Job Description & Responsibilities: 

1. Interpretation for Major Events & Client Meetings

• Provide professional simultaneous/Consecutive interpretation during the company’s major internal and external events, including high-level client meetings.

   

• Ensure accurate, clear, and real-time message delivery between Chinese and English with minimal lag.

   

2. Interpretation for Global Leadership Visits to China

• Support global leaders during their visits to China by providing on-site simultaneous/Consecutive interpretation for speeches, Q&A sessions, and formal or informal discussions.

   

• Anticipate content needs and prepare terminology glossaries in advance based on visit agendas.

   

3. Written Translation of Critical Documents

• Translate important written materials with precision and cultural sensitivity, including but not limited to government correspondence, official letters, and executive communications.

   

• Proofread and finalize translated documents to ensure they meet the company’s professional and legal standards.

   

4. Team collaboration

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other functional teams to leverage administrative resources at the GEO level, providing enhanced support for key GEO initiatives and events.

• Serve as an EBC enabler at the Shanghai office, including delivering brief introductions to guests and visitors, as well as providing English training to employees working in the innovation centers.
