China Generative AI Engineer
Job Description & Responsibilities
1. AI Scenario Identification & Solution Design
Participate in customer requirement research to identify AI application scenarios (e.g., intelligent search, intelligent recommendation) in 3DEXPERIENCE implementation projects; assess the customer's existing AI infrastructure, design integration solutions and architectures,
deliver solution design documents, and participate in customer presentations.
2. Knowledge Engineering
Build an AI-oriented knowledge foundation based on the customer's existing AI application platform and PLM business data (parts, BOMs, change records, design/process documents, etc.), covering: collection, cleansing, parsing, and processing of business data; building, tuning,
and evaluation of RAG pipelines (vectorization, retrieval, and generation); and ontology modeling, knowledge graph construction, and graph database applications for the PLM business domain — supporting scenarios such as semantic search, correlation analysis, and intelligent
Q&A.
3. Agent Application Development
Design and develop agent applications based on agent frameworks such as LangChain / LangGraph or the customer's AI platform, delivering AI capabilities for PLM scenarios such as natural-language queries, change impact analysis, and intelligent BOM comparison.
4. 3DEXPERIENCE Platform Integration
Design and develop the integration of AI services with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, including RESTful Web Services calls and widget embedding, ensuring the usability and performance of AI features.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Technical Support
Work closely with PLM business consultants, platform developers, testers, and customer business teams; participate in requirement clarification, solution reviews, and go-live support; provide AI technical support to cross-functional teams.
6. Reusable AI Framework Development
Independently design and build a comprehensive AI capability framework that integrates reusable components for RAG, agents, and 3DEXPERIENCE platform integration, supporting rapid configuration and extension, and serving as the unified foundation for both project delivery and
pre-sales demonstrations.
7. Pre-Sales POC Support
Rapidly build POC demo environments on the in-house framework and support the pre-sales team in proof-of-concept validation and customer demonstrations to help advance business opportunities.
8. Knowledge Asset Accumulation & Technology Research
Accumulate reusable knowledge assets from projects, including solution templates, code components, data pipelines, and best practices; track technology trends in LLMs, RAG, agents, and industrial software AI, and validate new technologies and evolve capabilities within the
framework.
Qualifications
✓ Master's degree in Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics.
✓ Solid foundation in mathematics relevant to AI, such as linear algebra, probability & statistics, and calculus, along with a solid understanding of basic AI/ML theories, including common algorithms (e.g., linear regression, decision trees, SVM) and core concepts (overfitting,
cross-validation, feature engineering).
✓ Proficient in Python programming, with experience in natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs), and the ability to interpret model principles and experimental results.
✓ Capable of independently developing, training, and deploying machine learning and deep learning models, with solid knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and large model fine-tuning techniques.
✓ Familiar with ontology and Knowledge Graph, with a solid grasp of knowledge representation, ontology modeling, and knowledge graph construction and application methods; experience with semantic web technologies (e.g., RDF/OWL) is preferred.
✓ Experience with the LangChain framework and agent application development skills is preferred.
✓ Internship or practical AI project experience will be considered a plus.
✓ Good communication and collaboration skills, as the role often involves working with cross-functional teams to provide AI technical support.
