Role & Responsibilities

Support BIOVIA business growth across key industries, including Life Sciences, Energy & Materials, CPG, Battery, and Industrial Equipment.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers by delivering high-value consulting and pre-sales support for digital transformation programs in materials science, life sciences, and data science domains.
Engage with customers to understand business challenges and translate them into scalable digital solutions leveraging BIOVIA portfolios (e.g., LIMS, ELN, PLM, and data science platforms).
Lead solution selling activities, including client presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and proposal development, to support revenue growth and sales targets.
Partner closely with sales, R&D, and global teams to align product capabilities with market needs and drive customer-centric innovation.

Qualifications

Master degree or above in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related fields.
15+ years of experience in computational material design (e.g., catalysts, battery materials, polymers, fuel cells) or related scientific domains.
10+ years of experience in business development, solution consulting, or pre-sales roles, preferably within process industries (materials science / life sciences).
Strong expertise in BIOVIA-related solutions/products, such as LIMS, ELN, PLM, and scientific data management platforms.
Strong understanding of scientific workflows and data-driven innovation in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, energy, and advanced materials.
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing or mentoring consulting/pre-sales teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
Fluent in English and Chinese; strong cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
