SIMULIA Benelux Regional Users Meeting 2011

From November 17, 2011 to November 18, 2011
Klooster Elsendael, Boxmeer Netherlands

Our Annual Regional Users Meeting (RUM) provides a valuable forum for discovering and understanding how experts in engineering and academia are applying the latest simulation technology and methods to accelerate and improve product development. Join us for hands-on workshops on 18 November in the afternoon. The topics will be announced later.

Overview

Join industry colleagues to participate in a valuable exchange of industry knowledge and networking. Topics will cover latest product enhancements as well as customer presentations offering insight into how industry leading companies are applying Abaqus, Isight and SLM to accelerate the exploration of real-world physical behavior of materials and products in order to improve performance, safety and quality of life.

Agenda

We are pleased to have the following presenters this year sharing their use of realistic simulation within their organization. In addition to our customer presentations, SIMULIA Executives will highlight new trends and software enhancements within the SIMULIA product portfolio.

RUM Seminars

Please join us for our post RUM seminars to gain deeper insight into particular SIMULIA solutions.

Workshop A: Advanced Material Modeling with Abaqus.
Description: Various topics on material modeling such as metal inelasticity, elastomeric and polymeric materials including visco-elasticity as well as the methodology and a practical demonstration of material calibration will be presented.

Workshop B: Topology and Shape optimization with Abaqus/ATOM
Description: ATOM delivers powerful solutions for performing topology and shape
optimization for single parts and assemblies, while leveraging advanced simulation
capabilities such as contact, material nonlinearity, and large deformation. We will
explore this new functionality in detail and perform a live demo. We will end with a
hands-on workshop.
