SIMULIA has an opening for a User Request Engineer in the Structural Mechanics domain. This position is based at Dassault Systèmes Solutions Lab Private Ltd, Pune. In this role you will be able to leverage your technical expertise to provide excellent technical support to customers and partners.

Role Description:

• Provide advanced technical engineering advice on using the Abaqus finite element analysis program and 3DEXPERIENCE analysis applications as part of our technical support staff

• Demonstrate the capability of the SIMULIA product suite to current and potential customers

• Capitalize knowledge to demonstrates the use of Abaqus and other SIMULIA products to solve challenging engineering problems

Role Description:

• Ph D degree in Engineering (with emphasis on Solid Mechanics and Finite Element Analysis), or M.Tech with at least 5 years’ experience doing finite element analysis in a production environment

Required Skills:

• Strong background in Solid Mechanics, FEA and Structural dynamics (Concepts and theory)

• Sound knowledge and understanding of linear and nonlinear structural finite-element modeling

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Superior verbal and written communication skills in English

Helpful Skills:

• Knowledge of and experience with Abaqus is preferred, particularly in a production environment. Experience with ANSYS, MARC, NASTRAN, or LS-DYNA will be useful

• Experience in the areas of nonlinear structural mechanics and structural dynamics is a plus
