Sales Transaction Support Specialist
Role Descriptions & Responsibilities
As a Sales Transaction Support Specialist, you will act as the liaison between sales, customers, and various internal teams, to ensure a smooth and efficient sales operations process. You will be responsible for software renewal management, software opportunity management, pricing, order management, and license key management. The following is a more in-depth explanation of what your responsibilities will entail:
Software Renewal Management
· Use the Subscription tool to manage assigned ALC/YLC renewals.
· Provide Sales with visibility for better forecasting.
· Present renewals to CE/SE/customers 90 days before anniversary.
· Ensure timely bookings; track and close renewals within the expiry quarter.
· Flag risks and attend weekly RLC cadence calls.
· Clean up accounts by processing STOPs/TOSs within KPIs.
Software Opportunity Management
· Link all ALC/YLC renewals to MCE opportunities.
· Maintain opportunity details (revenue, forecast, close date, status).
· Attend RLC calls to escalate potential quarter-close risks.
SBOs / DVE / Pricing
· Stay up to date on DS Sales Delegation and Portfolio SBO rules.
· Support CEs/SEs with accurate, well-documented SBOs.
· Coordinate with Pricing, DVE, Legal, and SBA for approvals.
· Communicate SBO status and generate quotations when approved.
Order Management
· Ensure accurate and complete processing of customer POs.
· Collaborate with SBA, Sales, Pricing, DVE, and customers to resolve issues.
· Track orders to closure and keep Sales updated.
· Participate in Top Deals calls for cross-team coordination.
License Key Management / Media Orders
· Manage non-standard License Keys (e.g., Parallel Use, Migrations, Evaluations).
· Coordinate with AG.Keys and obtain necessary approvals.
· Monitor expiring keys and process extensions or renewals as needed.
Qualifications
· Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
· 4+ years’ experience in sales execution
· Experience in an integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform preferred
· Ability to understand high-level sales strategies and ensure local execution
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Ability to work creatively and adapt to change
· Business analysis, leading change, managing projects with multiple tracks and working with Finance systems is a plus
Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $70,000 and $95,000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
