The License Compliance team plays a critical role in protecting Dassault Systèmes' software intellectual property, resolving infringement cases, and driving revenue recovery through strategic engagement with infringers and customers.

Role Description & Responsibilities

Create and drive strategies for the DS anti-piracy and compliance program, identifying software IP infringements through innovative and constantly evolving technology tools and investigative techniques
Develop, investigate, and manage leads derived from internal and external sources, driving them independently or in partnership with Customer Value Engagement (CVE) sales teams
Engage infringing parties with well-prepared evidence and negotiate settlements covering past use, including licensing sales going forward where appropriate
Investigate organizations and individuals engaged in the illegal distribution of unlicensed or counterfeit DS software products, working with Law Enforcement and Trade Bodies to close or disrupt such activities
Understand DS products and offerings to accurately determine the nature of infringements and appropriate settlement approaches
Develop and determine Engagement Type models to best address CVE/Geography dynamics, engaging directly with infringers on compliance actions where Direct Engagement is optimal
Create and evolve the License Compliance Program to drive growth via strategic initiatives, ensuring an efficient and effective supporting infrastructure
Generate, investigate, and execute quality opportunities within Customer Value Engagement, across the region, using all available sources
Develop, review, and enhance the infrastructure for engaging third parties worldwide who support or advance the anti-piracy and compliance strategy
Monitor, control, and coordinate activities among Investigation Firms, Audit Firms, and Law Firms on compliance-related actions within the designated region
Provide accurate and timely forecasting of revenue and results, managing the business against Expense-to-Revenue ratio (E/R) and optimal ROI
Work closely with the business to ensure compliance leads are entered into and maintained in My Client Engagement (MCE) and DSX.CLIENT Order, in a timely and accurate manner
Manage, populate, and maintain the EXALEAD License Compliance Case Management System in a timely and accurate manner
Support the business in ensuring opportunities are properly created and managed by the relevant responsible person within each Customer Value Engagement

Qualifications

Bachelor degree, majored in legal or computer technical is preferred
With more than 3 years’ experience in License Compliance or a role that required a focus on analytical and investigative activities as well as negotiation experience with customers , software industry background preferred
Good communicate skills, good licensing and understanding capability
With innovative and possess an investigative mindset with strong desire to learn
Good English capability
