Role Description & Responsibilities:

As a License Compliance Investigator, you will join our License Compliance LATAM team in Sao Paulo, playing a pivotal role in protecting Dassault Systèmes’ intellectual property and contractual interests, while at the same time protecting the relationship with the customer by finding mutual agreement to resolve the piracy /non-compliance matter. You will investigate software misuse, engage with customers and enforcement authorities, and drive resolutions with integrity and professionalism.

Detect and analyze software misuse and contractual breaches using data and technology tools.
Manage complex compliance cases, ensuring timely follow-up and escalation.
Negotiate and secure settlements with customers and partners, balancing firmness and diplomacy.
Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and external partners to coordinate compliance actions.
Present evidence and engage confidently with stakeholders, upholding high ethical standards.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

Bachelor’s Degree.
4–5 years of experience in investigation, compliance, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of software licensing, intellectual property rights, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and case management skills.
Fluency in English, Portuguese.

Preferred:

Technical understanding of software licensing models and usage tracking tools.
Fluent in Spanish
Proven track record in resolving non-compliance cases and securing settlements.
Experience with law enforcement or trade bodies in compliance/anti-piracy actions.
