We are providing this Technical Note to inform you about the release of BIOVIA Direct 2026 HF1. It includes the following enhancements and fixed defects.

## Enhancements

This release of BIOVIA Direct includes the following enhancements.

| **DIR-4565** | The documentation of the ENHANCEDSTEREOSMI flag was updated. This follows the alignment of the standard behavior when reading and writing SMILES in BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot Chemistry, BIOVIA Direct, and BIOVIA Draw . |
| **DIR-4523** | The Direct Reference Guide now includes descriptions for the following life science calculators that were added to BIOVIA Direct 2026:  fsp3, mdlaux.fsp3  hbondacceptors, mdlaux.hbondacceptors  hbonddonors, mdlaux.hbonddonors  heavyatomcount, mdlaux.heavyatomcount  logd, mdlaux.logd  logp, mdlaux.logp  logs, mdlaux.logs  numlipinskiviolations, mdlaux.numlipinskiviolations  pka, mdlaux.pka  rotatablebonds, mdlaux.rotatablebonds  tpsa, mdlaux.tpsa |

## Fixed Defects

This release of BIOVIA Direct includes the following fixed defects.
