The SOLIDWORKS Mechanical Design Product Management team is responsible for the research, development, planning, direction and go-to-market strategy for all SOLIDWORKS Mechanical Design Products.

As an Intern within this Team, you will help improve our products by extensively using SOLIDWORKS products, testing various applications and workflows, analyzing the competitive landscape, and reviewing customer feedback.

This is a paid internship based at the Dassault Systemes North American Headquarters located in Waltham, MA.

What will you do…

As a Product Management Intern, you will learning, implementing, promoting and working on growth strategies for some of the most innovative products within the SOLIDWORKS portfolio on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. You will be one of the first to try some of our newest features and products, and provide usability feedback to drive the direction of the product, including:

Analyzing the competitive landscape
Reviewing customer feedback
Creating detailed 3D models in CAD applications and timing how long it took to accomplish
Identifying any shortcomings or significant difficulties in creating 3D models

You will also be using the new products to design complex 3D models, make full use of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, and share your experience.

Key Success Factors

Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program or a Graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial or Product Design, for the duration of the internship

Possesses advanced knowledge of SOLIDWORKS CAD is a must.

Demonstrates knowledge of mechanical and product design and manufacturing processes is also a very desirable skillset.

Creating Screencapture (video) and video editing skills are also useful to create presentations and videos.

Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0

Possess Well-developed skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Camtasia or similar.

Able to work onsite at the Waltham, MA office location
