The size and complexity of designs that are analyzed and tested with Abaqus continues to grow. Submodeling allows you to study a local region of a model based on an existing solution from a global model.

- The proper design of a coarse, global analysis that can "drive" the submodel analysis
- Mesh design for the submodel analysis
- Shell-to-shell and shell-to-solid submodeling
- Solid-to-solid submodeling
- Submodeling in nonstructural problems
This course is a customized subset of the Substructures and Submodeling with Abaqus.

What is Included
Electronic copies of the training notes will be provided to each registrant for their personal use. To perform the workshops for this class you will need to have Abaqus 6.11 installed on your computer along with a license that allows you to submit an optimization process. For students who need it, we will provide a 7-day training license that supports the optimization feature.
