Institute of Vehicle Engineering was founded in 2013 as a spin-off of Automotive Structure & Safety Lab of Kookmin University(Prof. Heo). iVH that has various research experiences of automotive, defense, construction, shipbuilding industry provides engineering services, software education and solutions.
iVH is deriving innovative results about system engineering, front loading, multi-physical system modeling which based on Modelica language.
In particular, We have secured a lot of trust for many customers in study about MBSE using Dymola and concept design of the vehicle body using SFE Concept.
iVH established Korea’s first Modelica Association certified training center in 2013 and is running various training courses that meet the needs of field engineers such as Dymola, Modelica Libraries, VTD and so on.
In addition, We offer variety of solutions including Modelica modeling tool - Dymola, Geometry morphing-based design tool - SFE Concept, VTD of Vires for virtual driving environment and Modelica Libraries.

Partner Highlights

Institute of Vehicle Engineering holds plenty of experiences about Modelica-based MBSE. Especially using Dymola of DS, we’ve been doing a lot of research and satisfied many customers in automotive, defense, construction industry. iVH developed vehicle chassis design tool, aircraft control surface model, building air conditioning system model, combat vehicle model at the request of the customers.
iVH also has innovative BIW design process, which is the result about 10 years of study. This process can apply many design constraints from conceptual design level by using SFE Concept of DS. Body design using SFE Concept can reduce development costs and time. Therefore, many OEMs are interested and one of them recently signed a contract about body design using the SFE Concept and it is under way.
The strength of iVH is that we retain outstanding engineers. Their abundant experiences will be a great help for settle the customers’ difficulties.
